Android Headlines has given the ELO Sentinel its Best of IFA 2026 award, picking it out of everything shown in Berlin for what it does for gaming. Games editor Justin Diaz described it as XR eyewear built around playing rather than viewing, and said the feature that separated it from the rest of the field was not the panels but the list of machines it will actually take a signal from.
Top of that list is the Nintendo Switch 2, a console he noted no other pair he has tried has managed to drive, which makes the glasses a direct answer for Switch 2 owners who want more screen than the handheld gives them. The award also credits PS5, PC, Steam Deck and Netflix, cloud services from GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming through to Amazon Luna and Shadow, and remote play over Steam Link, Parsec and Moonlight. Behind that sits a Sony OLED panel for each eye at Full HD and 120Hz, peak brightness of 5,000 nits, a virtual screen reaching 200 inches, and 3DoF with directional sound.
